On a normal evening in 1993 at the age of 43, while making love with my then wife, my body lost its power to sexually perform. I remember feeling a deep, dark fear, that gripped my entire being that I had some horrible disease that was consuming my body toward death’s door. What I had actually experienced was a phenomenon, that, at the time, had no definition but today is commonly labelled as erectile dysfunction.

In 1995, he retired as a National and World Dance Champions, with his former wife, Bonne Hegarty, from the Ballroom Competition arena and, soon thereafter, established Sexy Spirits in New York City which became a community hub for both educators and practitioners. Its mission was, and still is, to elevate greater awareness and consciousness in the relationship between man and woman in regards to sexuality and spiritually. I attribute in great part, my 20 years career as a professional competitive Ballroom and Latin dancer, to the my awakening of the Man/Woman dynamics.

a health crisis that affected my entire sexual function and had no where to turn to for help. The internet was still in its infancy in terms of informational resources, and the medical professionals at that time dealing with the sexual reproductive system and located in the yellow pages phone book were listed under Urologists.
I went to 2 different Urologists and was shocked that both had the same answer – this is normal! The infamous “blue pill”, Viagra, was 5 years and would not come to markets until 1998. And THAT was my great fortune because had it been available at that time, I would have most certainly taken the “easy way out” of handling the symptom without eradicating the cause. Now, nearly 30 years later and today in my 70’s, ……

What you will learn from me is the journey I traveled, is to not only regain and maintain robust sexual energy and vitality, but also how to align and integrate that sexual energy into a vital life force that your health, your relationships, your capacity to live and love all that life is in both its darkest and illuminating times, and if you happen to hold my beliefs that we only die in body but never in consciousness, your choice to return, or not, to an even better world from the one you left, but now as the NEW you created from the Sexual energy that the last you cultivated and made it a life long practice to your very last breath!

Richard Anton Diaz is based in New York City and is the Co-founder of the Traditional Chinese Healing Arts Academy, founder of Taoist Healing Arts, Sexy Spirits, and the Man Evolve Groups. He is a certified instructor, educator, and instructor, of the Universal Tao system created by Master Mantak Chia. He specializes in the solo Cultivation of Sexual Energy training and practices for men as well as the dual cultivation training for couples that include Sensual Loving Touch and Expanded Orgasm. Additionally, Richard enjoyed a 20-year career as a professional competitive ballroom dancer, where he won a world title and twice represented the United States. He now teaches Tai Chi and Qigong for physical health and longevity and is a facilitator in Family Constellations.
